Dodeca Shell is an advanced utilily that interacts directly with your Dodeca repository database in order to view, edit, delete, export, and import data. It provides functionality for working with artifacts, comments, the metadata audit log, and can be used as a lightweight scripting tool to assist with migrating information from one environment to another.

We have investigated an issue that occurs infrequently when extracting large amounts of security information and determined it is due to an Essbase API issue. This issue occurs only on Windows operating systems and is related to the way that Windows and the Essbase API utilize ports to connect to the Essbase server. We have found a fix for that issue that requires changes to the Windows registry and have documented it in a PDF file available here.
