I found it a joy to play and the sounds of the scarabs you'll understand once you play the game fun to listen to. The object is to find the golden key blue tiles as quickly as possible and you don't have to remove all the tiles to do so. The different layouts, animation, graphics and sounds are excellent. This was my first windows based mahjong game and will always be my first love out of all my mahjongs. The game is not impossible, and the timer does give you plenty of time. I've found I use half of what they give you. There are bonus tiles to help you along and five shuffles. The undo button doesn't penalize you. Only issue is that if you need a hint, the hint button only works with the hint tile.

You travel across a map. It's called "non-traditional" because there are extra bonus tiles you can use. Sometimes you HAVE to use them to get to the tile underneath, lol, but you don't have to match the bonus tile with another one, so that's easy.
Seriously, I've never run out of time, even on brain-foggy days. You don't get penalized for using shuffles, but you do get extra points for each one you don't use. You also get points for the time you have left, so there's still incentive to hurry. The goal is to match up the pairs of blue ankh tiles, and matching them will end the level. There's so much time, though, that if you want to clear all the rest of the tiles first before you click on the ankh tiles, you can.

The colors are nice and bright with a lot of gold designs and hieroglyphic backgrounds. So far I have seen 4 different tile sets, not sure if there are more, but they are original mahjong tiles with an Egyptian twist ranging in bright to natural colors like fabric and dark wood.
